Plumbing & Gas Reports
This is a report to determine the condition of the plumbing or central heating system which may be requested alongside a gas report.
These reports normally comment in detail upon the integrity of the plumbing and gas installations following a visual inspection and operational checks. Flues of the boiler and any fires will undergo a close examination along with cookers and gas fires. The most important factors that are considered are for any leakage and satisfactory ventilation and that the installations meet current safety standards.
If during the inspection an appliance / installation is discovered to be faulty and may be considered a potential risk, the gas engineer is under a legal obligation to switch off the mains supply and isolate the appliance / installation.
It is highly illegal for anyone to carry out work on such installations unless they are CORGI registered.
